Since I wrecked my Impreza I would like to know if its worth replacing the hood with a CF one. Its like a $150 difference in price. Do they get rock chips or dings like normal hoods do or are they very resistant to these things? Scratches?

yes it depends on how fast you go ofcourse.

My dad's porsche(which he road races) has chips at the front edge of the hood and also a big chip on the wing, both the hood and the wing are carbon fibre and they are painted. Hope that helps
