Yes, assuming they're the same brand, so the connections match up. For example, if you have the Sanden compressor (SD-708), you can swap in the Sanden compressor from a NA or TII. I know that some dealer installed systems used Nippondenso compressors.

I've been also looking for more info on our AC systems, like refrigerant and oil quantity specs.

Also, it has to come from the same series. s4's and s5's have different hook-ups as well, even among the same brands.

I have seen A/C comps from S4s and S5s., denso's and sandens. I currently have a compressor from an S4 on my S5 vert, It is sanden and works/looks/fits like the original. If they are the same hose hookup, they will work.

Regardless of series or brand, the mount is the same. If the hose hookups fit, the compressor fits.

If you buy a used compressor, either get a picture to verify that your hoses fit the new compressor OR you can also buy the soft hose part along with the compressor from the same seller. Those hoses will hook up to your hard lines and you are good to go.

Good Luck!
