Arrow disappearing walbro foam sleeve

so a week ago i got the walbro kit and opened it up to make sure i got all the stuff i needed and then put it on my workbench. imagine my surprise today when i am about to install it im missing the zip tie and the foam sleeve that goes around the pump. the zip tie is of course not a problem but i would like to get another sleeve or something like it to protect from pump rub (haha sounds funny). any ideas? i cant have any type of foam that will deteriorate in the fuel. i was thinking of using a piece of old radiator hose if i cant buy one.

whatever you use make sure you put it in a cup of gas for a few days and make sure it doesn't swell or melt at all.

I would think rad hose should do the trick (if you can't buy another foam sleeve) but I'd test it for sure.

thats wierd though - did you buy the pump new?

You can buy a replacement for less than a dollar. Example from google:
