Disabling a rex
Is there any part i can easily take out of the engine bay that will disable an rx7 so it cant be stolen? On other cars you can just pop off the distributer cap, but on a rotary...?

you could take off the fuel rail lol... that would really disable it....
disconnect the ignitors powering the coils
unplug the magnetic rotor position sensor...
unplug the fuel pump wires in the back left speaker post
if u really want to do the job u could drop the throttle cable from the throttle body... would prevent acceleration
unplug the ecu in the car.

if it's a manual there is a little plug under the dash, not exactly easy to get to, but yeah check it out, it's a green lttle hook shaped plug that connects 2 wires. i took it out just for ***** one time and she wouldn't start without it. and it only took me about 5 seconds to put it back in. Easy as pie.

What level of "Keep it safe" are you looking at here?
A simple fuel cutoff switch (hidden) should keep most people from screwing with it. If someone really wants the car, there's nothing you can do that will prevent them from taking it.
