Sorry for not following up I have been enjoying the car haha, I'm planning on installing a usdm engine harness in the next couple of weeks. I'll definitely snap the pictures you need.

Sorry for reviving such an old thread but this is the closest I’ve found to what I want.
there are some sliders in the lower corners of the dashboard in our FCs where you can control the air flow to the door vents.
I want these for my car.
Can someone help me source these? It’s part 18 and 19 on the image

They may be available from the dealer, but they can be salvaged from another dash assembly if you can find one used.

They are removed with two retaining screws on the slider, and the cable that connects it to the vent door unhooks by gently prying it with a flat screwdriver. I've not removed the vent part itself, so I'm not sure how it comes out.

EDIT: Just to clarify, the screws are hard to reach and on the back of the dash. I believe the dash has to come out to access the vent too, since there isn't much clearance. But not sure.

yes I had a Canadian spec fc that was brough to the states, and it had these,

and I later transferred them over to a usdm model(swaped dashes as well since I was doing a black interior conversion)

these are like old school muscle car era "vents" slide it and it lets air from the outside come in through the door vent.
theres a blank panel that bolts to the firewall, it is removed, and the vent is bolted to it. I think dash needs to be out to mount them, but I cant remember 100% as it was years ago

I didn't even know these were an optional feature, I thought all FC's had them.

They're great. I love getting the airflow from outside while moving without the window noise. Perfect for fall or spring days when the external air is cool but the sun is hitting the car.
