ok well my car is weird to me anytime i go to start it i turn the key nothing. nothing will happen until i push the gas down about half way what could cause this? after its running car runs good just weird that i have to start it that way was wondering if there is anything i can do to fix it. i just replaced the plugs last night to see if that would help. any ideas on what could be causing this??

 

What do you mean "Just nothing?"

As in, the starter wont even turn the engine over?

It turns but wont catch?

It turns, and tries, then dies?

 

no it just cranks and cranks and cranks until i push the gas down halfway then it starts

 

Sounds like your battery is dying....

 

If his battery was dying...his starter wouldnt be starting the car....

How are your injectors?

 

Sounds like the typical flooding.

Perform a full tuneup, have the injectors cleaned if it has not been done before.

If the problem remains, perform a compression test.
