differnce between longblock and shortblock? and what years did they change and whatever info you can give me thanks.

i think short block is just the engine core not any of the accessories.. and long block it what the whole engine together is... manafolds and in the car and everythien **** like that...

isn't a shortblock: less sump, less manifolds, less front cover, less water pump, water pump housing etc etc etc
while a long block is just less manifolds?
a complete engine is exactly that - a complete engine

short block is just the block for the most part assembled, no manifolds, turbo, accessories etc..
