have you changed the stock bushings by something like urethane??
if not, that would be the best option...

There is a sub-frame brace for the rear. AutoEXE makes it.

the pinion snubber is the only way to go with these cars. You might also check that your front differential mount isn't torn. I managed to tear every front differential mount I had until I installed a pinion snubber.

has anyone made a solid front diff mount to go along with the solid rear mount. it doesnt really make sense to get a solid rear mount with a rubber front and pinion snubber. does it?

I had to make mine, and so far it feels really good, I broke 3 mounts and had enough of that rubber bullshit.

Its actually just a bump stop, the one I got was actually too short and I wound up shimming it with washers to be perfect.

Here's a writeup for changing the front diff mount and adding a pinion snubber. I used the same bump stop PvillKnight7 linked to, and approximately 1/2" worth of washers shims it enough to preload against the nose of the diff.

I've been meaning to put a pinion snubber in. I bought one. I just don't want to pull the subframe and the storage bins out because of the inevitable broken interior pieces and rusted bolts

you should use a snubber $12 from autozone 30min install ...on your drivers side tray open it up you have to drill a hole over the mount and install your snubber ...then this will stop the travel of the mount...no more hop...make sure you put silicone on the thread of the snubber and hole

I just boxed in a factory front diff mount with steel so it can't move. It has worked great for over a year. Drivetrain noise will go up a bit though.

You MUST use solid subframe bushings with a solid front diff mount and solid rear diff bushings or you will break the mounting tab off the subframe.
