Difference btwn s4/s5 throwout bearing?

I tried searching, but I can't seem to get an answer to my question. I'm installing a transmission from an S4 into my S5, and I noticed that the S4 throwout bearing is slightly taller than the S5 bearing. They both have the hooks underneath that attach to the lever arm. Can anyone give me a definitive answer here? From what I could understand from my searches is that any 79-92 bearing will work.

No difference. I used the S4 in my S5 tranny. At least in a N/A...

yeah...someone had told me the s5 and s4 throw out bearings were different also.... but they were wrong.... throw out bearings differ from manufacturer to manufacturer, but are mechanically the same... so, that taller t-out bearing probubly is just an aftermarket replacement.... but the fork sizes are identical.....

Alright, heres another question. I realized that the tranny crossmembers/mounts are different between S4 and S5. So I grabbed a crossmember from a S4 T2 tranny I have sitting around. Now it doesn't seem to want to line up to the holes in the body. Are the tranny crossmembers different between S4 NA and S4 T2?
