difference between s4 and s5 lower intake manifold??
ok i am doing a custom "5th and 6th port" opening mod on my s4, i have a spare s5 manifold sitting around,
i am using the electric choke from a first gen rx-7 ( the one that opens when u are cranking the starter only) and an rpm switch. i noticed that these work alot like a solinoide, i also noticed that once it stops moving that there is a sort of clutch asembly inside that makes it so the motor will spin freely and not jam and over heat.....
i am going to have to make some sort of fancy confangled bracket of some sort..... i know the actuators are oposite for open and closed in the s5
but i am wondering if the screw holes and the actaul actuator sleeves, little pivot thingy, them selves are in the same location so i can creat my custom bracket to mount then? with out having to take my s4 manifold off....
ill post some picks of my different method
