What a BAD DAY! =(

My God, what a Bad day it is today....

I was fixing my vac hoses, and then I needed a T coupling.... well, i started my car, and opened my window....

when i tried to close my driver's window, i heard a CLICK in my switch, and the window switch broke! now i can't close my window!!! i'm using my sunshade to block the open window..... =( today sucks....


anyone know where I can find replacement window switches?

Are you sure the little nub that moves the switch didnt fall out of the groove? Take off your door and make sure before dumping money into a new switch.

na, the 2 plastic plates that holds the nub for the groove broke

i am trying to glue it right now... see if i can fix it.... but i doubt it...

Even if they broke you should still be able to close the window at least for now. It's sunny so hurry up before the rain comes back.

na, it wouldn't close, i took apart the switch right now... see what i can do

i was so stressed, i forgot i can press the nub to close the window....
so the window is closed! =) now tackling the switch problem..

Switches are available from any vendor. Icemark rebuilds them as well.

And please, use a descriptive title when posting a thread.

I had the same issue, after "fixing it", it broke again at the very worst time (250 miles aways from home @ NYC). I ended up buying a used S4 switch, no more stupid plastic pins
