i thought infini 3 seats look like regular FC seats, but I heard
infini 3 and infini 4 seats look the same, but are different some how..
is there any way I could tell the difference?

 

the infini IV seats are definetly different. do a search and a pic from a promo brochure was posted showing the interior. the seats are sweeet. i believe that they are Mazdaspeed seats...sorry i can't give you more info, but a search will give you your answer...maybe

hmmm...well i remember seeing an Infini III interior pic and the seats were different.
but if they are the same, why do you want to know if they are from a III or IV? technically if they were the same, there would be no way to tell.

as you can see those are 2 different seats in the pics (between the two).

87GTR which knows more than us, said that infini iv seats are rarer than infini iii seats, so im trying to figure out how to tell the difference

every picture I have even seen, the two were identical. There would be no way of telling a difference. They even had the same cloth in all the pictures I have seen.

Sounds like someone wanting to sell some seats and wants to think that the seats he was selling were some how better so 87GTR made up that they were different

hm.. im confused, how come the infini iii i've seen just had normal FC seats?
if infini iii seats are same as iv than i think it's more common now, that sucks

yea it was for sale, it went for $420, but the seats were in very bad condition, it was really worn out and they sewn some spots

Nope there is a difference in the Infini III seats and the Infini IV seats

The III's the driver side seat back is not adjustable. The Infini IV driver seat you can adjust the angle of the seat back about 15 - 20 degs.

They look the same and are the same type of cloth.

Now there are the MazdaSpeed Version seats that are black where the Infini III and IV seats are charcoal color. The MazdaSpeed seats are non adjustable like the Infini III seats.

Not true. Different part numbers for each of them. F057 is Infini I (seat type STV), F058 Infini II (seat type STR), F067 Infini III (seat type STF) and F070 Infini IV (seat type STG). Information on the Infini I and II is nearly non-existent though. If there are verifiable Infini I and II's owners here, I'd love to get some pictures of the seats

Live in Australia where infini seats are a bit more common on the ground. The Infini 3 and Infini 4 are the same seat, but the 4 has a little handle which adjusts lumbar. (Source, I own a set)
