I believe the only difference in the flywheels is the integrated counterweight, which matches the rotors/front weight for the series.

sounds like i should be alright then. i just bought a racing beat s5 TII light steel flywheel to go on my new motor (s4TII with s5 rotors). what i really wanted to make sure of was that the s4 starter that i got will work with the s5 flywheel (ofcourse i did not think about that until after i got the starter. stupid me)

Is there a way to tell the difference between the 2 flywheels just by looking at them? I dont want to use the wrong weighted flywheel!! Thanks,
Chris

They have a model code on the back, I believe the s4 is n320 and the s5 is n370. Only difference I've seen is that that they probably weigh slightly different for the balance of the engine.

EDIT2

S4 TII = n318
S5 TII = n370
