Dies unless A/C is on?
I've got an 86 N/A which i have slowly been trying to get on the road. It had been sitting for maybe 2-3 years, and I've done most if not all of the tune ups needed. It now runs using the unflooding procedures, but it will not stay running unless I have the A/C on full. I've taken the injectors out thinking the flooding is due to them, and am looking for a place in town that will clean them. I don't really want to tow it to the mazda dealership to have it looked at. Any ideas?

By "stay running", do you mean idle, or run period? If it runs with your foot on the gas, but won't idle without the AC on, adjust the mechanical idle settings. The AC triggers an assortment of bypass valves to let more air into the engine (to keep it running with the AC load). If it won't idle without these open, you can probably fix it by tweaking the mechanical idle.
... if it won't run at ALL without the AC on, eh. No clue.

Passing life by
^ That is right on the money for the most part. So do as posted. If you have to unflood it all the time it is worth a look at the coolant seals. Make sure they are good and not blown. Having to unflood each morning when you crank it will ither be leaky injectors or blown coolant seals.
Ither way I think we need some more NFO if you can provide it about the cars behaviors.

Ok, thank you all for the replys. By saying it wont stay running I meant it won't idle without the A/C running, unless i have my foot on the gas and keep it at around 1500 RPM. I will try adjusting the mechanical idle once I get it put back together with the injectors back in and cleaned. As for a vac leak, I've done just a quick check with some carb cleaner and didnt notice anything. I might just replace all the vac hoses just incase. I haven't done a compression check yet because I can't seem to get the check valve to come off my tester.
