Died with a whimper.
Less than an hour ago, went out to move my 88 GXL.
Turned the key and POOF.......tinkle.....tink........nothing.
I think the rear rotor turned cannibal and ate itself.
Welcome the newest member of the blown motor club.
Damn it was running strong for 160,000 miles.
Oh well.

blown motor club thats funny. i have been in that club too. well if you want to get running quick go to your local junk yard and check the compression of a used engine and then just swap it out. that would be imo the cheapest and quickest fix.

Yeah I just found out about and RX7 ONLY junkyard near me. So I'm headed there tommorrow.
I had a feeling it was gonna go soon, cause it was running so well. I was just hoping that it would be more spectacular when it went.

See, this is where things start to snowball. I had just gotten comfortable with the fact that it was slow, and I really didn't want to spend any money right now, but I guess it time to build a money sucking monster.
