did steam cleaning on rotors

Ok so I did the steam cleaning trick on my tii. It was very easy. After I was done i took the car out for a drive and felt like to boosted a little quicker. (probably just in my head. Also while doing it I found a few leaks where my turbo manifold attached to motor and DP attached to turbo. Didnt realize i had any leaks. Anyway for anyone wanting to do this (yes I know somepeople dont believe in doing this) it was very easy.

I do it every 3 oil changes. I use vacuum nipples that favor each rotor. I do one side then the other. While some water will still go to both sides, you'll favor one side which means even if one rotor wanted to shut down at all the other side would keep it going. I try to hold the engine at 2K rpm. It pulls less suction on the water and keeps the engine running. I typically do one gallon per side. It all takes about 5 minutes. The amount of steam out the back is quite impressive. A downside to this is that the mufflers and cat fill with water. it sits inside them. You'll continue getting steam out the exhaust for a while until this water is all gone. The car always runs better after doing this.

Do not try this on an RX-8. The engine can handle it but the ecu has no idea what is going on. Due to the readings on the O2 sensor, the ecu will dump extra fuel trying to compensate. Most of this ends up puddling in the cat where it gets lit off. The cat will literally glow orange and start to melt itself apart.

I steam cleaned my TII a couple summers ago, drove it hard to make sure everything was cleared out, then parked it for an hour or so. When I tried to start it back up, an apex seal unseated and got stuck, locking my motor. Now, the motor was on its way out as it was, compression was like 80psi front and rear IIRC, but it's quite possible the treatment had something to do with it. Generally I think the water treatments are good though. I might do that today or tomorrow on the motor I built after that last one locked up.

How about a pick of the nipples you used. I want to do this to my S4 but I'm not sure which nipple to use.

Can I have a pic of the vacuum nipples and instructions to use for the steam cleansing trick?
My 88 vert motor has a lot of Engine Fog put in before layup last October, the steam trick should get the guck out,
Thanks,
Mike
