Well I had the intake manifold apart the past couple days and eliminated the air pump and all related accesories. I also got rid of the actuators but kept that plate on the manifold to block off those holes. I pulled off the 2nd set of butterflys on the TB also. The coolant line thats by the BAC I rerouted directly. So today was its first real run but the problem is that it seems to be running a lot hotter then usual. When I was driving, the coolant temp went 38-45ish percent of the way up and usually it always stays at 25%. Did I overheat it??? Even at normal sitting there idling it stays at about 30% It also idles kinda odd going from 1400 to 900. But with some fine tuning its not to far from being in top condition again

 

no you didn't overheat. if it goes above 1/2 you are overheating.....

Yea I realized the problem was due to lack of coolant lol. Only thing is the engine seems to be running VERY rich now. It backfires hard even at idle, whats the deal with that?
