It's the same as all the others, as long as the bar doesn't bend in half like a paperclip, it should be fine.

Actually, a lot of people have had fitment issues. They 'can' be off by a matter of .5 in, but that makes a difference.

as long as they fit really no big difference IMO. when I had an integra, I bought strut bars for front and back for like 30 bucks, they worked great. The car handled a lot better.

I got one that didn't fit right. I had to take a dremel and trim some metal off the inside of each of the base plates to get it to fit flush on top of the shock tower. Then I installed it and the hood wouldn't close cause the bar hit the contoured part of the inside of the hood. So I got one that I can't use. If anyone wants it, I'll sell it for $20 shipped.

They do have fitment issues, I just installed my recently. First it would hit the alternator, so I got a new shorter alt belt. Then when i bolted everything in, it hit my power steering. So i had to add spacers under the base plates. When and if you get it to fit, it's a good deal.

you're bitching about a peice that you bought for 10 bucks that you haven't even tried yet?

maybe it's me but a lot of people just like to bitch.

look up one of the offical strut tower braces on mazdatrix or some rx-7 performance site and you'll see they're quite a bit more expensive.

oh by the way you should search on this topic you lazy bum.

I picked up a cheapy off Ebay myself. Like $15-20 shipped...

It did hit my alternator, but I was also due for a new belt (fully extended). With a short belt in place it fit under the hood fine. The base plates didn't want to "fall" onto the studs....but it did line up fine. After carefully tightening the nuts back down, 4-star pattern like lugnuts, it slowly slid down and then fit nice and snug.

I need a suspension upgrade/repair/replace bad, so I didn't notice any huge differences, but I noticed subtle differences in my handling.

you get what you pay for and for $10 you get junk. Support REAL companies that do R&D on there parts. when you pay $100 for a cusco strut bar you get a quality, nice fitting pice that will proably last the life time of the car. EBAY SUCKS

No, not ripped; just these are very cheap. The tower rings are flimsy sheetmetal.

It's $10. A really nice $30 strut can be built with a panhard bar onto a single strip of angle-iron or billet aluminum, with a 3/8" drill.
