Did i blow an apex seal?

hi guys!
while driving, my 91 na all of a sudden started running rough and lost nearly all power. i managed to make it 6 miles to get home but sputtered and skipped the whole way. it still runs but very rough with a lot of skipping even after changing plugs, wires and even coils. it runs with the front chamber's wires only hooked up but not with the rear only. is it possible that i blew an apex seal or do i need to look elsewhwere first before coming to that conclusion?
thanks for any help/advice.
Emile

Sounds like you might have Do a compression test to be sure.

Are you sure the ECU is not in limp mode?

Why would being in limp mode only make the rear rotor fire? Exactly. It doesn't.

OP, you probably did crack, or threw a seal. But to be 100% sure, do a compression test. Are there 3 even wooshs?

Are you sure, your fuel injectors are firing? When you were driving it, when you full throttle the car, does it back fire crazy? (I.e full throttle and lots of back fire) Or what happens?

Let us know what the numbers are.

Remove the plugs and have somone crank it. Make sure there are 3 seperate puffs of air. If it sounds like you have 1 strong puff and 1 weak one then you have a bad seal.

in worst case i know people have ran there motors on 1 cylinder for a long time.

I would advise pulling the codes from the ecu as well.

Doesn't cost anything.
