Did I blew the engine?
Here is the story guys/gals.
Yesterday, I put a new BOV on the car, took it out for a ride and adjust the tension on the BOV. After a little drive the car started to miss like a ************ at idle. The car also boosted to 10psi all the way up to redline at this time. After that i bought new plugs, put them in with very little change (still missing just a little bit less). My friend started looking around and found that the new BOV was taking in air. We put back the stock BOV and everything was perfect for about 10min. This morning it started to miss at idle again. I am going to check the vacume lines today and make sure that the afm didn't move any of the tooths out of place. Any suggestions and comments are welcome.

Ebay BOV, I could put my finger around the BOV and feel it suching my finger in, like when you put your finger on a vacume line.

for compression test disconect the spark and fuel. remove spark plug. ( 1 rotor housing at a time) screw in the compression tester and turn the engine MANUALLY first, with one of the belts to make sure the rotor doesnt hit the tip of the compresion tester thing. then crank it and let it turn 3 even times and check the gauge.mid to uper 80's is good. 90 + is great. u can disconect the spark by just unpluging the coil packs. and im pretty sure the fuel relay plug is yellow and black with a white plug. its inside the car right next to the steering column. good luk

Thanx this is a great write up, didn't know about the coil pack plug inside the car. I will get a compression tester tonight and try this.

gotcha, fuel relay, I know where those are. The question then is how do I make sure that I dont get spark, I know last night when I was doing some tests, I had arching current from the coil packs.

thats why u unplug the coil packs from the wiring harness. it prevents them from firing because there are well disconected. if you did it wrong you will know because like you said you will get an ark from the pack or wif the wires are still on, from the end of the wire
