How are you going to mold them? What material? Factory Style retaining clips?

Just keep in mind that the OEM grills are $25 per pair from the Mazda dealer. These are plastic, if someone could mill them out of aluminum and powder coat them they'd be worth $50 easily since they'd last forever.

most dealerships put in an order and have it 2 days later, thats where i get most of my interior parts, beats haggling for em. i think the s5 radio surround costs like 140 and a pillars 100 bux

The dealer ones were 15 dollars a piece last time I checked when I bought one. And it doesn't take long to get them from the dealer, only took me 1 day.

i wouldn't say $25 for 2 small pieces of plastic necessarily is cheap.

^ agreed do you know how much it costs to make them? about $1.00 (taking into consideration labor and material costs per piece, this is an estimate) $25.00 is kinda a pain in the *** for vent pieces that are just going to break again . . .

try about $.20 to make a pair, including labor costs. it is all supply and demand, of course they need to make money on their parts but they made the original costs to cover the development and tooling when they sold the cars 15+ years ago so now you are breaking your wallet to help engineer newer more costly cars like the RX8.
