dec./air settings

About the safc. Ive seen some post about it and I kinda get the idea. But no one really talked about setting the dec./air. (thrtl%, ne1 %, ne2 %). I believe the ne1 and ne2 settigs are defaulted at 10%. I have my ne points set a 1000 rpm increments. Still kinda shady on the Hi thrtl and Lo thrtl settings.

Settings-

4 cyl, 5in 5out, arrow up and right, flap

Hi thrtl

Ne1 10%
Ne2 10% (Default settings)

Can someone give me a prime example on what I should set these settings at?

Keep in mind that i do have a turbo and my tps has 1 thingey not 2.

My car will idle but will not drive when i take the s-afc off. And it WILL NOT start with it on, so it has to be the s-afc. (All cause I dont know howto tune it)

thanks

Eddie

Well when the S_AFC is installed you cut the tps signal, so if you take the S-AFC out, then the TPS is not connected to the ECU. That will make it run funny or plan not start.

the car will not run with the s-acf out because you cut the AFM wire...

leave the Dec./Air settings as they came. it's not needed for our cars. it's needed for talons. although I think the default is 0?? can't remember.

for the 86-88. set the hi thrl point at 99 and low at 98

ne points are fine like that.

Yeah, you might want to re-set the Dec. Air settings to 0. Don't need 'em.
