Well I'm pretty sure the stock turbo just gave out. I can't boost over 6psi now, and when I do, it sounds like its blowing air. Sounds like a loose hose, but I can't find one anywhere. I checked all the intercooler hoses, the BOV, the tees where the boost gauge is spliced in, and even the fitting on the back of the boost gauge.
Any thoughts?
I was quoted $300 to get it rebuilt. I am really leaning towards a t3\t4 or t04 setup.
I have :
a streetported motor
3"dp
3" catless single exhaust
TB mod
RB FCD
T-Rex 125psi Fuel pump
cone intake
BOV
I want around 300rwhp and 250ft/lbs tq ( if possible ).
What turbo would be best for this setup? What trim etc.
is the hybrid enough? Or should I look for a T04?
