Dead tach and annoying beeping
What is up with that.. Sheesh...
Car is running fine but the tach which had been spasmodic for the last couple of weeks died this morning. Bringing with it an annoying beeping which is quite similar to the beep when the coolant is low but it's not!!
Any ideas?

Beeping or a buzzer???
low coolant (and low oil, and too high RPMs) would be a buzzer.
Are you sure it is not the power steering computer beeping a error code (as found in the FAQ for FC sticky thread at the top of this section).
