dash speakers don't work

dash speakers don't work

my dash speakers don't work, could i have blown a fuse or something? If so, where are the fuses? I checked to see if there was a current running through the stock wiring harness of the dash speakers by connecting the red to the harness and the black to some clean metal that i found. And there was no current. Was that the correct way to do it. I'm kind of a newbie to circuits.

yup, of course, that's how i know they don't work. i didn't really notice at first, but then i turned the fade and it was completely quiet, and i was like wtf...then i turned it back to mid point and it was fine

I would check the speakers first then. pull them down and see if they are working.

This is still an all OEM system right?

actually the speakers are aftermarket, i ripped out the original speakers cuz i thought they were ripped, turns out the door speakers were ripped

are you guys sure there's no fuses for just the front speakers, one of my connections came loose (i taped it on temporarily) and i'm guessing it might've touched some metal part blowing the fuse
