Thanks in advance, I've found a lot of info on this site, its helped me out a lot. I am going to look at a 88 vert. It is a second owner car with 120k miles. Original clutch original engine. He sais that there are no rips in the interior and very clean inside. It is red and has some dull spots which is to be expected. There is a slight crease on the passenger side where the previous owner hit a rock backing out of the driveway. It has been garaged kept. The top as a two inch tear on the passenger side, and at one point there was a small leak between the top and the window, I assume this is those seals wearing thin. He also said that it is kind of sticky in third gear. I might come up with more when I go look at it but let me know what you think. He is asking 3300.

I read the description and it seems from the owner that he took care of it pretty well. Just get a compression check and you should be fine. Sticky in 3rd gear? Might have to test drive it and see how bad it is. Try to bargain with him too if you can.

 

Yep, thats the one, he seems like he took care of it, but we'll see when I go there.

 

3300 is a pretty good price if the car is nice.
