Hey gang,

I'm getting ready to redo the interior of my car and affordable interior parts for the second gen can be hard to find.

Since third gen parts are everywhere I was wondering will the interior of the third gens match up with the second gens. i.e. Dash length, door placement, instrument placement.

If not does anyone know where I can get reasonable parts for the interior of an 86 RX-7?

No, they don't. But I have heard of a couple people trying. It appears to take more than the average amount of modification, as no one has ever posted pictures of a conversion even coming close to looking done.

 

what color i might have an extra dash black and or gray not sure

 

Don't forget to switch your VIN numbers on your dash when you do a swap .

you would be suprised at how many people do the swap and for get to change the VIN plate. Next thing you know.. a cop tells you, "This car is not registerd under your name." when he looks at the VIN plate

 

Red was the original color. But I'm changing the Color. Black would be an ideal dash color.
What do you want for it?
Any other interior parts out there?
