how much boost are you seeing? You need to work on your launching and get your 60' below 2secs.

um.. you should be WAY faster than that.... WAY. Practice your luanches man, that'll help so much you wont believe it. Your MPH is too high for that ET which tells us that your car is good for some mid 13s i would guess with a good launch and "shift mad quik yo!" or some **** like that.

97mph....low 14s...maybe high 13s if you are hooking very hard. I'd start looking for some problems.

On a side note..my n/a FC ran a 15.1@95mph with bad 60ft times.

I can't believe that at all Josh. I was thinking that when you didn't want to tell me the time you ran, it was cause you thought you had a shot at the third. I would say that practice is the key to your success....and learning the reaction time of the tree. It takes time....but yeah, you should be way faster than that. I'll let you read that article if you want to...its a good one.

you did shift at redline and not 4k correct?

maybe you just need practice or your safc needs tuning

If we are talking about the same person his name is Nick. I meet him on forum when he bought his 91 N/A! He had a post asking questions about N/A auto's and at the time I still had mine so I emailed him and then found out that we worked at the same place just different locations. Now he keeps me posted on his 7 and your 3rd because he cant wait to get his 7 back! Also your 3rd is SWEET!!!

To everyone else:
I know that my launch needs some work! I will post my times after next weeks events! I am wanting to remove my air pump and I am wondering if that will have as much of an effect as what I am told?
Right now my car wont boost any higher than 7 psi in first and 10psi in 2nd, 3rd! I dont know why I dont have more boost! Even if I adjust my boost controller I get any difference!!! I have been told to remove my air pump the get more boost so that is my next mod! what does everyone think?

I say remove the airpump and hit the track. Though I won't be there next week cause I'm going to see Oz in Florida, I'll be there the week after that...and then the FD may even run with you.

That's a very low time for your mods.

How'd you get the OS Giken clutch from an FD to work on your FC? We tried to do that to an FD(took an HKS twin from an FC) and it didn't work.

Somethings not right.

My first and only time at the strip, I netted a 15.3 with a 2.5 60' stock everything with around 82,000 miles on everything. (Not shabby seeing mags listed it as being a 15-15.1 car).

your 60' times are the same as my 16 second nissan sentra!!!!!! are you running with alot of excess weight? the lack of boost may be part of your problem, but it actually sounds more like bad launches and slow shifts. drop the pressure a tad in your rear tires, ditch EVERYTHIGN you dont need in the car. work on speedshifting too, that helped me drop 6/10 ths in the 1/8th mile.
