yup... can't pass smog (in CA)... first off idle too high (1300, probably can adjust that myself)...
high idle test was waaaay over... they suggested exhaust leak might contribute to not passing (which i don't quite believe)...
what can cause running rich? (idle misture screw is leanest possible, and assume cat is still ok for now, may actually need that replaced...)

 

Go to Sherwin Williams and pour about 3 gallons of tolulene into your tank and fill up your car! or you might go to jail for driving around on race gas.. I could not pass here in colorado! I found some kid @ ford to run my vin# with a focus on the tester.

 

damn... if i can just find someone around bay area (CA) to do a fake one for me... i cant even drive the car legally on the street since it's not registered and i need the smog cert real bad

in WA we get tested @ 850 and @ I beleive 1800 not under load

Its county based right now in CA. Some counties (like mine) It's under load on a Dyno ... other Area's (like the Bay area) its still smog check 1. no Dyno ... they are converting them all ... very soon, but right now that don't have enough smaog check 2 stations in the bay area for the population .. so they can't force the dyno smog check 2 test in that area *yet*
