cutting out, bucking and then the backfire comes

ok, sorry guys. But im still having problems here. Once again, its an 87gxl with full t2 swap. I got it idling right and it dont sound too bad, but now when i drive it it cuts out, bucks and backfires. I have been working on this thing since 6:30 this morning and im wore out and cant think straight anymore. It cuts out at around 3200 or so and only under load. and when i rev it past 4000 it gets this really weird whining sound for a second, and its not the turbo. it boosts fine. im just really tired and could use some more help. I appreciate all the help so far and am glad this forum is here, i dont know what id do without it

It sounds like a fuel related problem. What harness are you using, and what injector setup? List out all your modifications.

i am using the t2 wiring harness, stock injectors and fuel system. i have straight pipe to factory n/a catback, and fcd, thats it. No other mods at all. could it be the old wiring maybe? or the injector clips?

Did the setup come from a donor car, or was is pieced together? The injector resistor pack should be used with early 87 TII low impedence injectors, but not necessary for the later cars. I wouldn't suspect the wiring's age or the clips if it came off a running car. Check out the fuel pressure under load.

the whole setup came from my 87 t2 that i got hit in, and both cars are early 87's and not to sound like a dumbass but what is the injector resistor pack?
oh yeah, all the emissions stuff was removed and blocked off when i bought the t2, dont know if that helps or not but thought i should add that in
