cutting out at 4k

so i got my turbo **** done, pretend this is a turbo2.

so at 4k under boost while driving it cuts out like a rev limit sounding thing and the wideband reads 14-15.
in neutral itll go to redline no problem.

i have 720 secondaries, so i thought it was a rich spike until i checked the wideband.

no boost gauge, so no numbers on that yet but i have a fcd anyways, and its on stock boost.

what could cause the secondaries to not come on at all? i think that could be what it is.

also, since i relocated my battery when i turn off the ignition it takes a few seconds for all the electrical stuff to turn off, and the motor keeps going for 5+ seconds every time.
what is it, is it related? i ran the positive to the starter pos lead and the negative to a body ground.

fixed the car not turning off, had a fan wired straight to ignition switched power, someone suggested that that caused it, and it did. it turns right off now.

but i still need to fix the cut out.

Check grounds. This actually just happened to me a few days ago and it was because I had unbolted the trailing coils from the chassis and forgot to put them back on. Once I put them back it works like a charm. In fact, it somehow managed to cure my 3800 RPM hesitation as well, so who knows.

boost gauge is on its way, i couldnt stop myself from driving it!
it seems to cut not as bad at low throttle, and worse with heavier throttle.
tried no fcd, same thing,

TPS. get a VOLT meter, make sure it's within specs and adjust accordingly. Make sure it's a smooth sweep all the way to WOT.

i know my tps is off, but i really doubt it would cause such a violent cut only under load..

I honestly doubt the TPS will cause the symptoms he is experiencing. It sounds like bad grounds causing an extreme form of the 3800 RPM hesitation. Since it sounds like you just put the turbo swap in, you probably just forgot a ground or something simple like that . Go ahead and check the TPS, but I doubt its the problem.

> Well of course it's gonna cut out worse at heavier throttle. You have secondary 720cc x 2 with no AFC, you're probably dumping too much fuel at that point, which will cause it to bog and be sluggish. I had similar problems when I switched to 720's when it wasn't tuned yet. Of course for some reason it was the other way, I had to be careful on lower rpm's and feather it until 2.5-3K then I could bury the pedal.

> Oh, have you checked to see if it's maybe the infamous 4K hesitation? The bad grounds crap?

not even close,

i have a wideband.
i have a safc2.

when the stumble/cut happens, the wideband is reading way lean, like 14-15.
i said i thought it was too much fuel, but my wideband is telling me otherwise.

so does the bad ground 3800 stumble cause a lean condition?
not sure if its that though, on light throttle the stumble/cut didnt happen till 4500.
somethings being funky with my secondaries under load.
