Cut my bumper up to get more air to my FMIC.
I decided to cut a big slot in the rub strip, and then cut the fins out of the center of the grill.
I think it turned out pretty well. I also mounted my bumper with brakets, since I'd been using zipties for the last 3+ years, because my brakets broke when I took them off the first time. I drilled out the old studs, and welded bolts in their place to act as new studs.

when I get it off the jackstands, I'll post up if there's any improvement.
before it moves another inch it's getting new wheelstuds, a rollcage, and new brakes all around.

Personally I think being able to see the fmic after the fins is gross, but to each his own. The OP has that figured out. I can just see the bumper getting mangled to what hypertek's turned out to be.
