Custom Header Completed
So last weekend I got my car into the shop and finished making my header and mid pipe. It came out pretty well I think. I used tig to stich together the whole thing together so it was good practise for me. It def gave my car a good amount of power throught the rpm range and faster revving towards the top. It sounds and smells like a race car to. Its a little loud at the moment but I have some leaks to deal with. All the mild steel piping and the flange cost about $130 not counting the tap to make the bung for the O2. Plus I have a ton of pipe left so I am making some slip on shorty side pipes to keep things short and true duals if i want. I am also making a cai with the leftovers. I had a couple questions though. What should I do with the air pipe that leads to the cat? I plan on running a cat in the future so I dont want to completely remove it but should it be capped? I am not worried about 6th port function because I already tied them open until I make a better way to actuate them.
