custom fiberglassing
basically all i want to do is start doing some custom fiberglassing on my dash as well as maybe doing something with the door panels... so that they fcan look like the carbon fiber ones that are for sale on the forum for about 600 obo... i just want a smoot look... i have read on the internet that you can just obviously lay out the stretchy cloth, and stuff like that cut out your holes, and make templates of what you want to add...anyone got any good sites or ideas that i should use alright let me know guys thanks

it took about 3 attempts, this was my very first f/g project, I hadn't made a flat panel or anything, just jumped right into doing a dash board. I did door panels as well but they are slightly warped from not supporting it them evenly as the f/g cured.
I used manual door panels, pulled off the vinyl and carpet and then glassed them as a whole. If I were to do it again I would leave the top part wrapped in vinyl and just dye it whatever color I want and then only glass the bottom section since they are separated easily.
