Curious...

Hi, I know I'm a bit of a newb, but I was wondering what the mechanical differences are between the (n/a) S4 and S5, ie: what engine components are different, which parts do they share, etc.

Thanks in advance

S4 info; http://www.mazdamark.com/about_the_fc.htm

S5 info; http://www.mazdamark.com/about_the_s5_fc.htm

Theres actually a lot different. You can read both of these and get the just of what they kept for 89+ and what they didnt keep. Also new features like the VDI(combined with a new intake), airpump activated 5th and 6th ports (vs exhaust activated S4 port activation) You'll see. Good Luck !
