Cryo treated apex seals

On ebay I have seen cryogentically (if that is spelled right) treated stock 2mm apex seals, sold by Fc3s.org. I was going to buy the stock seals, but was wondering if these treated ones where slightly better, or maybe even worse. If anyone has experience with these, or know good or bad about it, let me know!

My discussions with Rob at Pineapple Racing boil down to:
The Process is worthwhile IF the Rotors and rotor housings are also done.
