See if there is 12v on the black/yellow wire that is one of two wires at the small, white connector at the lead coil assy. No 12v....no fire. No 12v....the ENGINE fuse in the interior fuse box is blown or the 30amp fuse in the engine bay.
And make sure the cas and afm plugs are connected plus all three ECU plugs
If your tach makes a minor jump when you are turning the engine over....then the fuses are probably good along with the coils probably sparking also. Then it's a flooding issue/wide open large air leak issue.

The cas is the crank angle sensor. Similar to a distributor. Afm is located on the bottom of the air filter box. It has a plug on the inboard side.
Now the good news. There is a free, online, factory service manual at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com. Download the FUEL section out of the 88 manual. Spend some time looking at it and maybe the ENGINE section also.
Buy or borrow a digital meter from RadioShack (twenty bucks) and see if you have the 2v on the black wirre with a yellow stripe at the lead coil assy's small white, two socket plug. Off to work.
