creating a mould of RX7 sunroof seal
Has anyone ever created a mould of a cross-section of the seal so you could replicate the original?

No but I did buy a new OEM seal from mazdatrix (or atkins, i can't remember) if you wanted to use that to make a replica (not sure your goal of the project)

why? just buy one FB03-69-895C its not cheap, but its less than reproducing it

yeah but these seals aren't going to last forever. someone will have to port it eventually
