Crazy Headlight Idea:READ ME NOW!!!

Ok, the more I think about it, the more I want tehEast Bear headlight kit. Here is my idea:Take up a collection of guys/gals to buy 1 set of em, then send it to RETed for a plastic copy to be made, and then to mazdaspeed7 to get them done in carbon fiber. Mabye get RETed to take our $$ and order em...Sound like a decent idea? Instead of paying $650 for em, we might find a way to get em for less, plus, who ever decides to mold em, can sell em for their own profit!

So someone is going to buy the kit and give it over to them and make copies of it in Fiberglass in carbon fiber? That would kick ***, especially if I got a CF hood to match, which will never happen. What do you say Mazdaspeed7/RETed?

rico05, now thats a damn fine idea, the more people we get the cheeper everything will be, lets make this a sticky and we can take orders down or whatnot, as long as everyone is serious.

Still need a vital part: The agreement of Mazdaspeed7 and RETed to do this.

they actually find people who pay 650 for that headlight kit!?!? what a freaking rip-off. I would think you wouldnt need a mold to make a kit for yourself, just mold it yourself out of fiberglass and cut 2 holes for the lights. It looks like mostly flat surfaces and 90 degree angles, it shouldnt be hard.
