Cranks over but after a minute it dies...

2k stock s5 rebuild with stock ports.

Never had this problem until today. Cold start, cranked up fine than about a minute later it just dies... Tried to restart it with no luck. Figured I had flooded the engine by now. Removed the fuses, plugs, cranked the engine with the pedal depressed for 5 seconds. added some 2-cycle into the lending holes to coat the rotors, and cranked again. I installed everything back and attempted to crank it over. After the fifth try it cranked over. I had the gas pedal depressed and after a minute the engine dies.

Please don't waste your time and bash my thread. This is not another noob "is my engine blown" thread.

thanks...

check for loose clamps and vacuum leaks. Also make sure the MAF is plugged in correctly. Check your gas tank for gas (not kidding either) and fuel leaks.

Trouble codes?

Clogged cat/exhaust, excessive backpressure? Try running it with the O2 sensor removed, hole open, see if it will stay running that way...

Vacuum leak? May run while it is rich (cold), and then go to lean once it warms up past a certain point...

It has a strait pipe back with no cat with a dump pipe for wastegate exhaust hole. Today, I did put a plate cover most of the hole to quieten the exhaust. I removed it and still had the same problem. I will unplug the o2 hole and see what happens.

thanks
