do a compresion test on it. does the starter spin fast or slow? once you get it to start how does it run? Rough Idle? It could also be flooded.

Its flooding. If it just keeps flooding and the only way to start it is push starting i'd say its got low compression. Push start it, let the car run for 45 mins...turn it off and try to turn it back on. If it doesn't start, the motor is most likely garbage.

thanx guyz..
well yea the guy got it running by getting it up to like 15 mph and then it ran..
but on the way to my house it byed bcause of low fuel..
but it sounded pretty strong so it might have some compression..
but ill check it tomorrow...and also im going to try the the fuel fuse thing...
and it cranks normal not fast or slow...
oh and yea the body its pretty strait its just primer realy to paint...
interior is clean as hell to...

should be around 80PSI i hear, Haynes says to check trailing plug holes, but a much more mechanically inclined buddy of mine suggested to me to try the leading.

nice buy btw..

test via leading hole, on both rotors, make sure to remove schrader valve from tester first to check for 3 even bounces, then plug hole to test for overall compression. anything above 85 is decent, over 100 is very good and under 80 is prolly on the way out.

Okay start where ever you want but you may want to consider checking your starter and the wires that run from the battery to the starter and altnator. Any auto parts store can check your starter and it should be free. HAVE THEM CHECK IT OFF THE CAR!! This is because on the car test only check the amps/volts the starter is producting it does not check if the starter is engaging, if the teeth look damages, and any other type of mayham. But it does sound like a wiring problem from what you are discribing.

when you check the compresion make sure you check for 3 even bounces not for the overall compression on the gauge. about 10 years ago one ot my cars started doing that it ended up being the rear rotor was out of compresion on 2 of the faces. the car would run if push started but you could sit inside with the key forever and it would crank and crank but wouldnt start.

the other thing check your fuel maybe your fuel got water in it from condensation from the winter. maybe there is some water in your tank or something.

good luck.

Its nothing but low compression. Fuel leaks past the seals flooding the next chamber..push start it and run it for 45 mins for **** sakes. If it frees up then you can get some life outta the motor, if not then the motors garbage. Rebuild, buy another or whatever...there ya go you bought yourself an s5. BTW if your a quitter sell the car...your gonna have to deal with a lotta **** if you beat on it.
