cranking when cold...
My dillema.. I have a 87 turboII, and it takes forever to start when its cold (the engine) but when its been warmed up it fires right up.. I checked the following so far and are up to spec...
Fuel pressure
FPR
fuel pump
pump ground
voltage drop of b+ and Pump (+.062)
Voltage drop from B+ to ignition switch on starter(-.022)
new plugs
Replaced Neg batt cable (2 extra grounds)
I plan on testing the resistance of the CTS today but was wondering if anyone else had any ideas for me??
Thank you!!

Do you mean:
- the starter isn't turning fast enough?
- your're not getting any spark, but hear it making compression by the "cathuga, catchuga, catchuga" sound
- your're not hearing a "catchuga, catchuga, catchuga" sound until multiple starting attempts.

Also, when you say it takes forever, how long roughly. I think I could be in the same dilemma (except mine won't start), but I'm worried about trying to crank it for too long or too many times.
How long should you try to crank it, and how many times? (oh, and I'm not getting the 'catchuga, catchuga', and I have NO other problems).
