Does anyone know if the crank pulley if right or left hand thread?

Also does anyone know if the flywheel is right or left hand thread?

Is there any secret to removing them?

They are both normal thread. The flywheel is best removed with an impact gun. There was actually a tool called a torque multiplier that would run along the ring gear on an NA flywheel, but I have never met another 7 person who has seen one. If you dont's have an impact gun (or torque multiplier) you can get a big *** wrench or the tool from mazdatrix...

As for the pully, remove the outter section (4 10mm bolts) then I use a chain wrench on the nub thing that is left after u remove the V belt pullys, and a long breaker bar...

Good luck
