cracked turbo exhaust housing

I just bought an upgraded 1990 turbo. It has an pugraded turbonetics turbine housing, v-trim, and is balanced. but one of the studs for the downpipe sheered off, and the exhaust housing shows alot of hairline cracks. is it still safe to use it in my TII?

BTW i spoke to some reputable people about it and they said it will be alright, and that kind of cracks are normal.

Thanks

How did a downpipe stud shear off? Was it damaged in shipping or something?

Cracks are normal, and if they are not large, you will be fine.

As for the stud, just use an extractor to remove the broken one and install a new M10 stud in it's place.
