Coupla Pics with new Front Bar on

Forgive the **** quality of the pics,
it is 6am here,
it is raining, the car hasn't even been cut & polished since it was sprayed, but here they are anway. It is getting close to completion now!








just hafta cut&polish it, clean up the kit, put the rest of the mesh in, get the thermo fan happening (plus a few other bits & pieces) and it is essentially finished.

i didn't want the FMIC right up the fron visible, as bastards might kick it when it is parked, or rocks might get thrown up into it.

I'lll keep you posted upon the final stages when they are completed!

Very slick looking!!! Where do you get those wheels from? I can't find wheels like that ANYWHERE around here. Get some sharper pics up!

is that cardboard in your airdam?

nice nose. yeah get some bigger sharper pics if thats possible i like the rims 2.

did yu custom make that front end?

did yu make it from the existing front piece?

I have the car in the garage right now and am starting on making my own hood design ( aluminum hood) and it looks pretty wicked so far. I just tapped it as a template.

I wanted to do something to my front also without spending a huge amount of money , so if yours is custom could you send me an email and some pics or post some development pics here and what you did.

Great job , keep the pics coming.!!!

If the photo's were clearer (blame "moi") you'd see that is is all gold mesh in the gaps.
I am really happy with it. The front bar was a prototype moulded from some anonymous FC owners front bar, which was then sold to me after he backed out of the deal.
According to someone i have subsequently met who deals in bodykits, i was ripped off a little, as the FB was very rough, and they did not install it for me for the price, but after 5 hours yesterday, we got it in well enough to make it respectable. (THANX MAZRX!!!! YOU'RE A CHAMP!!!)

The colour of the car is Ford Metallic Wild Violet, tho it looks like **** ATM 'coz it hasn't been cut&polished. The final stage of an acrylic paint job, and monotonously laborious to boot. I am just going to wait until the shops open again after the holidays, and pay a Panel Beater to C&P it for me. I couldn't be stuffed:p

yeah, i have a whole heap of photos from when the car was stock white & ugly, through the respray & upgrade process, to the point where it is at now.

i'll eventually set-up a thumbnailed gallery on a homepage with explanations of what mistakes i made, so others can avoid the same pitfalls.

That bumper is a *complete* replacement bumper. The whole stock one came off, and is currently languishing in the garage of my old place of residence. It was fucked, so I ain't bothering to even go back to pick it up. The people there can throw it to the shithouse, or make a bidet out of it for all i care.

My car is done!
And i am happy!
