could you.......

i have an 87 rx7 TII and i'm sure the engine is warn. now instead of paying 1000's for a rebuild, could i buy a running N/A engine and use that block and add all the extras? do you understand what i am saying? or am i making no sense?

yes, you could, but you have to understand that the NA engine uses high compression rotors, has no oil return for the turbos, and uses a completely different intake manifold. So you will be replacing a few things, blocking the 5/6th ports (or you could modify your TII intake manifold to flow into the 5/6th ports) and would need to pay particularly close attention to your tune with the higher compression so as not to have a second blown engine. Further I believe you need to swap the front covers so that you have an oil return for the turbo.
