AFM. problem/ question

So i got rid of one problem and now the AFM doesnt want to work. This is a turbo 2 s4. I tested the AFM last week and now im having problems. All the test from the FSM were fine except i found out the door doesnt shut all the way, so the fuel pump is always on. The ECU is use a default fail mode for the AFM, if i step on the gas hard the engine dies. I did notice one of the pins in the connector looks like part has gotten bent back. I believe it stil makes contact, but does anyone know how to remove the pins from the connector? Also this pin is for the temp sensor in the AFM, i dont think that would put the car into a failsafe mode. any know? The only thing i can think of is maybe when i opened the AFM door all the way to do the test it messed something up. Any ideas guys? thanks for all the help.....Brian

well problem solved. signal into the emanage nothing out. Emanage was set to a afm map with no output. so i let it just run through the emanage. I have noticed that the motor doesnt idle good. im gonna play with some stuff and fix try to fix that. But at higher if i hold the throttle it will randomly misfire.

rx7 obsessed if you are looking at the AFM connector on top there are 2 notches and on bottom there a three. the reason i tell you this is because if you you have it off and flipped the pins will be different(duh) anyway test from the 3rd pin from the left --x--o- the x and the sixth pin from the left the o you should have 200-600 ohms with it shut and 20-1000 with it fully open i didnt really understand this because the specs for closed are within the specs for fully open. but thats what the fsm says also resistance between the first two pins xo----- should be none when fully closed and continuity when slightly open thats the fuel pump circuit.
