so guys would you agree that i should shift at 6600 rpms to get maximum power????

im a lil confused here because some guy on this forum said my peak would be around 7500 with my mods.
You don't shift for peak power, you shift to stay in the optimal torque band based on your gearing. You will need a dyno printout to calculate your shift points.

Thumbs up evil guy

thanks dude! that was a cool site. i dont have exact numbers from a dyno but it lets you put a good guess in there.

i think i have been taking my rpms to high. when i race i shift after 7000 rpms in each gear. maybe a little sooner would be more beneficial. maybe like 6200 rpms.

its suck that there's no place to run, legal that is. we really need a 1/4 mile track here in miami. so i can finally get some good experience!

Thumbs up got the 3rd gen. out the shop

we drove her around sat. and man am i in for it. my 88TII wont stand a freakin chance. i never drove a 3rd gen. with a street port and new motor.

its unbelievable how much power 3rd gen's have. freakin car is scary!

the pull down low puts my TII to shame. i think im gonna start planin on the 3rd gen. fund soon!

its gonna be fun to open her up once we break her in!
