"It" doesn't give any more power, what it does do is give the installer the "capability" to tune for more power by adjusting fuel and timing curves. Using a 50/50 water/methanol mix you increase ocatane to over 100 and permit more timing, cool intact charge and permit more boost.

wow, how much did that kit cost you?
i've been thinking of installing something like that.
i would prefer getting this as oppose to the ever so popular
"Cold Air Intake"
but methanol? is methanol really necessary. i mean wouldnt play water be suffice?

I was actually looking into a direct port Nesquik system.
I heard they tend to lock the engine though. Something about running pure sugar tends to hurt your apex seals...
I think it's just a bunch of skeptics.

What are your supporting mods?

EMS or Stock ECU?

I've been debating wether an injection system on a stock ecu will work or not.

I think Chemical intercooling is the only reliable method in hot places like AZ.

What about ECU though?

How are you going to compensate for the water?

EMS with a tuned map for it?

Or Stock ECU with the injection far ewnough up stream so the stock sensors see the change?

well the guy i talked to said i didnt need any turning with it since its only spraying a fine mist of water and all it really will be doing is cooling the intake charge.

You will be substituting a little air with water and the intake temp drop needs to be measured or else the ECU will do incorrect math.

I've thoguht about doing it on the end tank of the top mount but wondered if pooling would be an issue or if that was enough distance for the temp change to be recorded by the stock air sensor.

Pre intercooled injection isn't liked because the IC itself could condense the water on the fins.

If you had a front mount then I owudl say there would be enough piping distance to properly disperse the water and drop the temp before it reaches the sensor.
