Question Cooler lines, Oil cooler sensor, Belts. How much would you spend?

My gxl is in need for some repair. Its an 88 i just wanted to know if what im being quoted for a price seems too high or just about right to you guys.
The place im goin through charges 150 for the two oil cooler lines plus like 115 for the oil sensor. And all belts are gonna cost me 115 basically total with all chrages im lookin at 700 bucks for that ****. The truth is i know it would be cheaper if i did it my self but i really dont think i could do those repairs myself and i think id just end up messin the whole car up.

Last thing i have a prob wit is my steering. The power stearing is making a lot of noise when im drinving like in a parking lot or gettin outa my driveway. I Think it has to do with the worn belts but i think i might need to replace the power stearing pump as well please let me know what you guys think. -THANKS

The oil cooler lines should be about $150 a SET for aftermarket ones, stock are about $280. Oil sensor is only about $60. The belt price is outrageous. There are only 4 belts (less if you don't have power steering or A/C). Thats about $25 MAX.

Whats the noise sound like? A squealing or a groaning?

I don't know how you get $700

Based on what you posted $530= $300 for oil cooler lines+ $115 for oil sender+ $115 for belts

Its not too far off on costs:

you got $280 in parts or so

and about $250 that in labor seems just about right. That is only about $75 an hour in my book.

Cool thanks, i have the list of things on a sheet but i just dont have it with me so thats why it dont seem right. Basically the job which consists of replacing the Oil cooler lines, Oil sensor, and all belts is gonna cost me 700 bucks Does that seem right? And also about the steering noises, any ideas on that?
